Pink Sands Club: The Height of Luxury

by Sarah Attaway @ Sunkissed Suitcase

The Pinks Sands Club on Canouan Island was such a surprise to me! This was my second work trip (my first was to Uruguay, Chile and Chilean Patagonia) and it still hasn’t quite sunk in yet that I get to travel to some pretty fantastic places, The Pink Sands Club included. Snuggled on a private beach on an island in St. Vincent and The Grenadines in the Caribbean, the hotel is white with splashes of bright pink and blue – a favorite combo of mine. Each room is slightly different but all in the same style. Each room in the hotel has a large terrace overlooking the ocean – my sister came with me on this trip and we liked to sleep with the door open to the terrace so we could hear the ocean as we went to sleep. Canouan Island has a population of roughly 2,500 people. The […]

Hotel Life: COMO Hotels in Ubud, Bali

by Sarah Attaway @ Sunkissed Suitcase

Ubud, Bali is such a magical place. And as such, it’s a must on any Bali itinerary. I visited Ubud the very first time I was in Bali in July 2016 as one of my last Southeast Asian destinations before returning home from my year as an expat in Vietnam. When I had the opportunity to go back to explore Bali on a work trip, I jumped at the chance and was thrilled I’d be returning. Since it is a such a popular Balinese destination for travelers, it should come as no surprise that there are plenty of hotels to choose from. I have my favorites after my visit – of course every client is different, so one person may love hotel A, while another client loves hotel B. While I can count a handful of Ubud hotels I love for clients, two of my favorite hotels are the COMO […]

Great Tourist Sites In Da Lat

by admin @ Proud Vietnam Travel

A wonderful serenity has taken possession of my entire soul, like these sweet mornings of spring which I enjoy with my whole heart. I am alone, and feel the charm of existence in this spot, which was created for the bliss of souls like mine. I am so happy, my dear friend, so absorbed in the exquisite sense of mere tranquil existence, that I neglect my talents. I should be incapable of drawing a single stroke at the present moment; and yet I feel that I never was a greater artist than now. When, while the lovely valley teems with vapour around me, and the meridian sun strikes the upper surface of the impenetrable foliage of my trees, and but a few stray gleams steal into the inner sanctuary, I throw myself down among the tall grass by the trickling stream; and, as I lie close to the earth, a thousand unknown plants are noticed by me: when I hear the buzz of the little world among the stalks, and grow familiar with the countless indescribable forms of the insects and flies, then I feel the presence of the Almighty, who formed us in his own image, and the breath of that universal love which bears and sustains us, as it floats around us in an eternity of blist.

How Travel Advisors Benefit The Traveler

How Travel Advisors Benefit The Traveler

Not only did I find that it is an extremely fun and fulfilling career to have, but I also learned that Luxury Travel Advisors benefit the traveler in a number of unknown ways. First-hand […]

Panama – It’s A Jungle Out There!

Panama – It’s A Jungle Out There!

by Sarah Attaway @ Sunkissed Suitcase

I recently made my first trip to Panama on a work trip with 12 other travel advisors from around the United States. It such a fun way to travel because I get to meet new interesting people who also have a passion for travel, and because I can learn from other travel advisors in the industry that may have more experience in a certain destination or have a different way of approaching a trip. My absolute favorite day exploring Panama was our jungle boat adventure (we also hiked, did a Panama Canal Transit, enjoyed the beach and explored Panama City’s Old City – Casco Antiguo). Our jungle day was my favorite day in country because jungle’s excite me – the landscape is gorgeous, I always find it interesting that you are surrounded by wildlife – much of which you probably can’t see at any given moment. Panama – it’s a […]

Chilean Patagonia Destination Highlight

Chilean Patagonia Destination Highlight

by Sarah Attaway @ Sunkissed Suitcase

Patagonia. It’s a major bucket list item for some but to be honest, it really never crossed my mind to add Patagonia to my list of destinations I really wanted to travel. When my company received an invite to go to Chilean Patagonia (Patagonia also extends into Argentina!) in the spring, I accepted the invitation hesitantly really only because I was already going to be in Santiago, where the trip began, two days before the start of the Patagonia trip. Time-wise, it made sense for me to go so I said “yes” to the invitation. And I’m soooo glad I did. Patagonia is unique because the landscapes are so varied. During my time in Chilean Patagonia, I saw countryside extending as far as the eye could so, enormous mountains, crystal blue glaciers, waterfalls, etc. There was a new delight around every corner. Patagonia is an adventurer’s paradise – I loved […]
